Terrorism is an act of creating fear among common people using illegal means. It is a threat to humanity. It includes people or groups who spread violence, riots, kidnappings, fights, bombings etc. Terrorism is an act of cowardice. People use terrorism as a tool to prove their unjustified opinions.

There are two types of terrorism. First one is political terrorism, which causes widespread panic and second one is criminal terrorism, which involves kidnapping for ransom. Political terrorism is much more crucial than criminal terrorism because it is carried out by well-trained people. Therefore, it is difficult for law enforcement to stop them in time. Terrorism has spread nationally and internationally. The most violent form of terrorism is the regional terrorism. Because terrorists believe that dying as terrorists is holy and sacred and that is why they are ready to do anything. All of these terrorist groups have different objectives.

Some of the main causes of development of terrorism are rapid population growth, political, social, economic problems and dissatisfaction of people with the country's system, lack of education, corruption, racism and language differences. These are the main elements of terrorism.

Terrorism creates fear in people. Terrorist attacks destroy millions of property, thousands of innocent people die and animals are also killed. Disbelief in humanity increases after terrorist activity and that gives birth to another terrorist.

Terrorism is the common enemy of the whole world today. Nations and governments are working hard to combat terrorism. Police, intelligence and military organizations of all the nations have created special agencies to fight terrorism. The attack on the World Trade Centre on September 11, 2001 is considered the largest terrorist attack in the world causing death of thousands of people.

Terrorism has become a global threat that must be tackled from the root level. Terrorism cannot be controlled by law enforcement alone. The people of the world must also unite to face this growing threat of terrorism.
